Fresh bream is an excellent choice for those who love the rich flavours of freshwater fish and their traditional preparation. Abramis brama, also known as diver's bream, is a staple fish of Hungarian cuisine, from which delicious and healthy dishes can be prepared.
The flesh of the bream is white, moderately fatty and slightly spiny, but when cooked properly it becomes really tasty and crumbly. Ideal for frying, grilling or even in chowders. Roasted to a crispy crunch, bream is a particularly popular dish in our country, and is a must-have culinary experience of summers at Lake Balaton.
